The Executive Summary: Treating This Election as a Job Interview

You won’t see my lawn signs across Milton. My campaign is focused on competence, accountability, and real solutions. I am treating this election as an executive job interview, not a popularity contest.

My commitment to Milton is backed by 13 years of relevant municipal sector experience across Ontario, paired with a pledge to donate 100% of my councillor salary to local frontline food banks and charities.

Municipal governance requires substance and strategic oversight, not showmanship. For too long, taxpayers have paid the price for short-sighted decisions that treat symptoms rather than root causes.

I am offering an evidence-based platform focused on:

  • Scaling infrastructure first to manage growth.
  • Ensuring developers pay their fair share when approving new subdivisions.
  • Expanding the non-residential tax base to limit future tax increases for homeowners.
  • Establishing minimum acceptable target service levels across all neighbourhoods.
  • Delivering equitable services for all ages, from free transit for seniors and expanded youth programs to climate-resilient infrastructure.
  • Implementing objective and transparent decision-making criteria audited by a youth task force.
  • Championing proactive community engagement and problem-solving.

For any questions about my platform, please see my candid responses on my FAQ page, or feel free to contact me directly at 647-262-8759.
