Happy Canada Day to everyone back home in Milton! 
​While I am in Kyoto this week as part of the Canadian delegation at the ISO Technical Committee on Asset Management, my mind is firmly on the incredible community we have back home and how much more we can achieve for Milton when we bring the right people to the decision-making table—leaders who combine good intentions with real, technical knowledge and practical experience.

We see the potential every day: the shared civic responsibility and pristine organization in Japanese culture, the warm traditions of hospitality and generosity of our South Asian community in Milton, and our foundational Canadian commitment to equality, fairness, and compassion.
True unity is about channeling these diverse strengths to build a more transparent, accountable, and vibrant municipality for everyone.
​It is an immense privilege to live in a country where ordinary citizens can step forward to serve their communities without any barriers.
